Well, its hard to get people visiting you but the first thing you should do is submint your site into google, yahoo and others…
Second you have to still advertising go to sites that you can get in their blogroll (thats a tip we didnt did but they say it works) and ask them if you can be in their blogroll!
And other thing is patience … dont give up your site or your post only because people dont see your site a lot !! Because if you post well and with good information you might have your hits counter go up!

It happened to me once with computerfan7, it was named penguin18213! and nop, its not normal at all!, I was really confused like you so I wrote an e-mail to cp reporting it and they put my penguin’s name back again
